JOHN B. THARPE

Funeral services for John B. Tharpe will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 
13, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with Rev. Tony Smith officiating. 
Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA under the 
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.

Mr. Tharpe was born on February 15, 1929 in Richland Parish, LA and passed away 
on November 10, 2015 in Monroe, LA. He was preceded in death by his wife, 
Lonnie Tharpe; parents, Bart and Lillie Tharpe; and 9 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his 3 children, Brenda Smith, Terry Patterson (David), and 
Mike Tharpe; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and 
nephews.

The family extends special thanks to the entire DeVille Family for their care 
of Mr. Tharpe.

Pallbearers will be, Todd DeVille, David Sanderson, Leo Vyvial, Mikel DeVille, 
Jake Roberts, and Joel Dispenza.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Drew Rymill, Hunter DeVille, and Dustin DeVille.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Friday, November 13, 2015 at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.
