PAULINE THOMAS

Pauline Thomas, 78, of Farmerville, LA, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 
2014 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA. Pauline was an incredible 
person who loved her family dearly. She is preceded in death by her husband 
James Thomas, mother, Evie father, Iley Thompson sisters, Gertrude Thompson, 
Virgie Francious brother, J.D. Thompson and one grandson, James Shannon 
Lingefelt. She is survived by daughter Dewanna Lingefelt and spouse Eugene 
Carpenter of Sterlington, LA; son, James Thomas and spouse Shirley Thomas of 
Lodi Calf; daughter, Tonika Davis and spouse Jeffrey Davis of Nome, TX; 
daughter Toria Lyles and spouse Dewey Lyles of Sterlington, LA; daughter 
Toshia Thomas and spouse Wayne Weaver of Farmerville, LA; one sister 
Pearlean Brister of Sterlington, LA; eleven grandkids, twenty two great-
grandkids, and sixteen great-great grandkids.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Gateway 
Assembly in Sterlington LA., with Rev. Barry Brister officiating. Visitation 
will be held from 12:00 P.M. till time of service at the church. Graveside 
service will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey 
Davis, Justin Thomas, Mac McVay, Lance Lucas, Richard Sebren, and Zack 
Meeks.
