Jerry Crise and Rev. Betty Swanson officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Thomisee died Sunday, April 10, 2016 at his residence. He was a member of Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church. Mr. Thomisee will be remembered as a very kind hearted and gentle man who loved his family. He was a wonderful husband, daddy, pawpaw, and friend. He was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Mr. Thomisee was preceded in death by father, Joseph James Thomisee; mother, Louvina Oswell; brothers, Bill Thomisee, James Thomisee, Napoleon Thomisee; and half-sisters, Patsy Thomisee and Joy Thomisee. Survivors include wife of 55 years, Betty Thomisee; daughter, Lisa Mayo and husband Al; sons, Tim Thomisee and fiancée Joy Ivins, Jason Thomisee and wife Brandi; sisters, Clorice Breland, Ina Crow; half-sisters, Marbeth Richmond, Bobby Lindsey, Azalea Maupin, Coonie Jenkins; grandchildren, Kyle Mayo, Ashley Jenkins, Blake Thomisee, Brooke BeDoit, Jarrett Thomisee; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Keith Wiedeman, Terry Turner, Tommy Turner, Paul Turner, Parker Turner, and Willie Crow. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. The family wishes to extend their thanks to Dr. Charles Morgan and his staff, Compassus Hospice and Palliative Care of Monroe. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association .
