West Monroe, LA

A memorial service for Robert S. Thompson, Jr., 72, of West Monroe, will be 
held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 4th, 2008, in the Feazel Chapel of the 
First Baptist Church of West Monroe with the Rev. Mark Fenn officiating.

Born February 4, 1936, in Monroe, LA he was the son of the late Robert and 
Rosetta Thompson. Mr. Thompson passed away August 30th, 2008, following a 
brief illness. He was the Assistant Manager of the Gun Department at 
Outfitters, LTD, and a member of the First Baptist Church of West Monroe.

He is survived by his wife, Dana Meade Thompson; daughters, Evelyn Thompson 
and Janice Rose; son, Robert Thompson; grandchildren, Kayden Scott, Crystal 
Rose, Russell, Brian and Trevor Thompson; sister, Gloria Jones and husband, 
Sonny; and mother and father-in-law, James and Faye Meade.

"Daddy, I love you and I miss you so much. You will always be my handsome man, 
and, I will forever be your little girl. If love could have saved you; you 
would have lived forever. I love you so much daddy." Evelyn
