MARILYN FORD THOMPSON

Funeral services for Mrs. Marilyn Ford Thompson "Granny", 70, of West Monroe, 
LA will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Liberty Grove 
Church of God with Rev. Ray Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the 
church cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Thompson was born on July 1, 1942 in Lost Lake, AR and died on February 
7, 2013. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy J and Ester Slaughter Ford, 
sister, Margie Ford White, brothers, Tommy Z. Ford and Jay M. Ford.

She has resided in West Monroe, LA with her husband of 53 years, Benjamin D. 
Thompson. She is also survived by her two sons, Mark Thompson and Todd 
Thompson and wife, Tara; grandchildren, Matthew, Mitchell, Tia, Katelyn and 
Chanler Thompson; sisters, Mary Ruth Ford Hemphill and husband, Buddy, Kathee 
Ford Simpson, and husband, Scott; brothers, Cecil Ford, Vernon Ford, and wife, 
Barbara, John Earl Ford and wife, Linda. She also leaves behind many well-
loved nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday at Liberty Grove 
Church of God.

Pallbearers will be V. J. Ford, Dennis Ford, Cecil Ford, Jr., Randy Ward, 
Scott Simpson, Barry Monk and Ronald Bridges. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Thompson, Todd Thompson, Johnny Ford, and 
Thomas Ford.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Liberty Church of God 504 
Marion Sims Rd. West Monroe, LA 71292.
