WILMA LORAINE THOMPSON

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Loraine Thompson of Monroe, LA will be 
10:00am Saturday, December 17, 2016 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home 
Monroe. Interment will follow at Loch Arbor Cemetery in Monroe, LA under the 
direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 
7:00pm Friday, December 16, 2016 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Thompson was born September 23, 1933 in Monroe, LA and passed from this 
life on December 15, 2016 in Monroe, LA at the age of 83. She was a retired 
sales representative of Sears Department Store and a member of First Baptist 
Church of Swartz.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Thompson; one son, Steve 
Thompson and one grandson, Scott Thompson.

Survivors include her three sons, Rusty Thompson and wife Lynn, Keith 
Thompson and wife Joanie, and David Thompson and wife Felecia all of Swartz; 
one brother, J.P. Wyatt and wife Joyce of West Monroe; one sister, Elva Jean 
Scott of Swartz; also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great-
grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be David Speir, Johnny Capps, Johnny Wyatt, Rick Scott, 
William Wyatt and Jason Scott.
