JIMMY THORNELL

A Celebration of Life for Jimmy Thornell, 71, of Monroe will be held at 5:00 PM
PM, Friday, March 17, 2017 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with Rev. Chad Br
Brooks officiating. There will be a visitation from 4:00 PM until service time on
on Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Thornell was born on May 21, 1945 in Vicksburg, MS and passed away on March 
14, 2017 in Monroe, LA. He was employed with Phillip Morris, Alberta Culver and 
American Greetings. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nell and Garnett
Thornell
Thornell and brother, George Thornell.

He is survived by daughters, Kim Thornell, Danielle Vance and husband, Chuck; 
grandchildren, Nicolas, Matt, Conner, Justin, Brittany and Jason; step 
grandchildren, Brent and James; sister, Judy Milton; brother, Ron Thornell and wife,
Jan;
wife, Jan; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The family extends thanks to Dr. Linus Ho of M. D. Anderson Hospital, Dr. Scott
Barron o
Barron of Oncology Associates, St. Josephs Hospice and all the medical staff that
had
that had a hand in Jimmy's care.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a very special group that was instru
instrumental in Jimmy's journey: Pilots for Patients, 3127 Mercedes Drive, Monroe
Monroe, LA 71201.
