Your heart can be empty because you can't see him, or you can be full of the love that you shared, you can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him and only that he is gone, or you can cherish his memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn back, or you can do what he would want; smile, open your eyes, love and go on. Scott passed away on Thursday June 14, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Dana Melancon Thrower; Sons Russell Thrower and Brayden Thrower; Parents, Bob and Joyce Thrower; Brothers, Daryl Thrower and Bobby Thrower and wife Michelle; Grandfather, Leon Baker; Mother and Father-in-law, Darlene and Jessie Guillot; Father-in-law, Charlie Melancon; Sisters-in-law, Chrissy Melancon, Laura Foret and husband Albert, Kelli Barrilleaux and husband Don; Brothers-in-law, Curt Melancon and wife Natalie and Todd Guillot and wife Missy; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and by two people who were more than neighbors, more than best friends, Bill & Melissa Woodward. Scott is preceded in death by his Grandmother Nezzie Baker and Aunt Debbie Marler. Scott was 47 years old and a 1984 graduate of Broadmoor High School in Baton Rouge. He was a faithful employee of Williams Olefins in Geismar, Louisiana for 27 years. Scott loved his job and loved his co-workers even more. Scott never met a stranger and his smile would light up a room. Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Tuesday June 18, 2013 from 1pm until Memorial Services at 4pm, officiated by Pastor Todd Blount.
