Greg Clark and Greg Belser officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday, arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville, LA. Ms. Thurman, a Registered Nurse, passed away Friday August 28, 2009 after a struggle with cancer. She was a member of Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton, MS where she taught Sunday school and was a congregational nurse. Ms. Thurman had a Masters Degree in nursing and taught nursing at Hines Community College. She is preceded in death by her parents: Lena and Dewitt Hogan; Daughter; Jennifer Rebecca Thurman: Brother; Glen Hogan. Survivors include 2 sons: Paul A. Thurman of Baltimore, MD; Brian Thurman and wife Jennifer of Pitkin, LA.; 2 brothers: Charles Hogan and wife Evelyn of West Monroe, LA; Kent Hogan & Helen of Farmerville, LA.; 1 sister: Sandra Earnheart and husband Wade of West Monroe, LA; 2 beloved grandsons: Seth and Samuel Thurman of Pitkin, LA; Several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Pallbearers will be Eddie Davidson, Chuck Hogan, Matt Thurman, Jerry Thurman, Jerry Hodge and Wade Earnheart. There will be a private interment at Ebenezer Cemetery in Jonesboro, LA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the: Sol Goldman Pancreatic Cancer Research Center at Johns Hopkins University in memory of Ruth Thurman mailed to: Ralph H.
