Msgr. Steve Testa , Rev. Chad Partain and Rev. Jose' Robles-Sanchez officiating. Interment will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens under the direction of John Kramer & Son. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 8, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will resume on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held in the Kramer Chapel on Monday at 6:30 p.m. Anthony (Tony) Ticheli, 89 of Alexandria, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014, in his residence. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Corrine A. Ticheli, and their infant son, Paul Ticheli; his parents, Anthony and Mamie F. Ticheli; two sisters, Mary Hervey, and Alice Campbell; three brothers, Joe Muffeletto, Vincent Muffeletto, and Jimmy Ticheli; a step-son, Russell Lindsey, III and step-grandson, Richard Lindsey. Tony served in the United States Navy during World War II, as a ship fitter, 2nd class for two and half years. He retired after 36 years of service with the United States Postal Service. Tony was a member of the St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church for fifty years; and prior to 1950 was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church in Monroe. He was an avid stamp collector and had a passion for cooking. Tony was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to all. His greatest joy came from spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his second wife, Lena C. Ticheli of Alexandria; three children, Joseph A. Ticheli of Houma, Marie T. Bordelon and her husband Wayne of Alexandria, and Paula T. Monk and her husband Mike of Alexandria; seven grandchildren, Jeremy, Anthony, Cory, Zachary, Michael, Ryan, and Emily. He is also survived by his two step children, LeAnn Collet and her husband Ron of Holden and Chris Lindsey of Denham Springs; four step grandchildren, Levi, Paul, Devin, and Danielle; and four step-great grandchildren, Skylar, Jayden, Mason, and Maliah. Pallbearers honored to serve will be his grandsons, Jeremy Bordelon, Anthony Bordelon, Cory Bordelon, Zachary Bordelon, Michael Monk, Ryan Monk, and Levi Collet.
