ALVA TIDWELL

Funeral services for Alva Tidwell, 93, of Downsville, LA will be held at Point 
Assembly of God at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 15, 2014 with Rev. Louis Bartet 
officiating. Interment will follow at Wilhite Cemetery, Point, LA under the 
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mrs. Tidwell was born September 17, 1920 and passed away August 11, 2014. She 
was a lifelong member of Point Assembly of God, Point, LA. She was preceded in 
death by husband Bennie F. Tidwell and son James B. Tidwell.

She is survived by her daughters; Nelda Nolan and husband Larry, Rachel 
Patterson and husband Gary, Debbie Thurston and husband Hank, son Phillip 
Tidwell; daughter-in-law Susie Tidwell; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-
grandchildren; sisters Telitha Hinton and Jimmie Patrick.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Brett Nolan, Chase Breen, Cody Breen, Brandon 
Tidwell, Ben Littleton, Josh Littleton and Blake Littleton. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Point Assembly.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM 
at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
