V.W. TIDWELL

Funeral services for Vincy W. Tidwell, 88, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 
AM, Wednesday, October 12, 2016, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
Monroe, LA with Rev. Robby Layson and Rev. Clyde Sanchez officiating. 
Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Tidwell was born September 13, 1928, in Sterlington, LA and passed away 
Saturday, October 8, 2016, at Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Tidwell was a building contractor and owner of Tidwell Enterprises. He 
was a member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. He 
was not only a member of The Moose Lodge of Monroe but he built is as well. 
As an avid hunter and fisherman he cherished his time outdoors and enjoying 
nature.

Mr. Tidwell was preceded in death by his parents, Stroud and Sallie Tidwell; 
5 sisters and 1 brother.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Clara M. Tidwell; sons, Vincy Jr. 
Tidwell and wife Dannelle, Clifford W. Tidwell and wife Sharon, Kenneth R. 
Tidwell and wife Penny, and Rodney D. Tidwell and wife Glenda; daughter, 
Connie Rogers Culpepper; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 1 
great-great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be his #1 assistant, Herman Green, John Conerly, Greg 
Grayson, Damion Darling, B. Hollis and Daniel Navarro. Honorary Pallbearers 
will be Joe Voisin and Greg Roe.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at 
Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Rd.
