Funeral services for Mrs. Judy Free Till, 86, of Marrero, LA, formerly of 
Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 11, 2009 in the chapel of 
Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Warren Waymond 
officiating. Interment will follow at Crowville Masonic Cemetery in Crowville, 
LA.

Judy Free Till passed away Wednesday morning, July 8, 2009 surrounded by her 
loving family and friends. She was a native of Ringgold, LA and a resident of 
Marrero, LA and Terrytown, LA. She joins her husband of 65 years, James A. 
Till, in heaven. Also preceded in death by her parents, John Free and Bessie 
Price Free; her children, Delois Lowry (Kenneth Lowry), Shirley Houghton; her 
brother James S. Free; and a great grandson, Tyler Houghton.

Loving Mother of Gloria Dupree (Wayne Dupree), Mickle Till (Betty Massey), 
Newell Till (Rebecca Heathcock) and Brenda Sholar (Jimmy Sholar). She has 13 
grand children, Donnie Whittington (Cyndy), Tammy Stansbury (Dave), Eddy 
Houghton (Becky), Cindy Baer (Jimmy), Stoney Houghton(Sharon), Mike Till, Jr
(Charlotte), Russell Till(Marie), Jerry Wayne Till, Terra Till, Cody Till, 
Cheyenne Till, Kyla Sholar, Travis Sholar; 19 great grandchildren, Jerry Don 
Whittington (Tammy), Randi Kaye Smith(Bobby), Brandi Boudreaux, Kenny 
Boudreaux, Brooklyn Stansbury, Hollie Stansbury, Emily Anne Baer, Jeremy 
Houghton, Kelly Houghton, Dustin Guest, Crystal Johnston, Jacob Till, Dylan 
Till, Jonathon Osborn, Tristin Osborn, Kaitlyn Osborn, Jade Hymer, Brianna 
Till, and Timmy Joe Till; 3 great-great grandchildren, Dakota Smith, Brooklyn 
Smith, and Makayla Smith; and son-in-law, Jerry Houghton. She is also survived 
by a loving sister-in-law and close friend Florice Till Free; 3 sisters, 
Luddie Edwards, Alice Nichols, and Marie Hale; and her little dog, Smokey.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Baer, Travis Sholar, Eddy Houghton, Kenny Boudreaux, 
Stoney Houghton, Emile Ray, Jr., Dave Stansbury, and Randy Adams.

Judy was loved and affectionately known for her good nature and caring heart. 
She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister 
and sister-in-law, who cherished her family. She was a good friend to 
everybody.

Visitation will be Friday 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
Sterlington Road, Monroe.

The family would like to thank Egan Home Health and Heart of Hospice for their 
professional care and loving concern of our mother.
