EDWARD HAROLD TILLMAN

Funeral Services for Edward Harold Tillman, 93, of West Monroe, LA will be held 
at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 18, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home 
West Monroe, LA with Rev. Eddy Shoemaker officiating. Interment will follow in 
the Kny Family Cemetery near Dunn, LA.

Mr. Tillman was born on November 11, 1921 and passed away at the Northeast 
Louisiana War Veterans Home on April 15, 2015. He was a member of Peniel 
Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA. Mr. Tillman was an original member of the 
St. Louis Browns Baseball Knot Hole Gang. He served in the U.S. Army's 269th 
Battalion as Private First Class and he was also a 33rd Degree Mason. Mr. 
Tillman is preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Kny and Edgar Alexander 
Tillman; his wife, Etta Douglas Tillman; son, Cary Kny Tillman; and his 
granddaughter, Danni Tillman Pitre.

Survivors include his sister, Laura Endsly; grandson, Dustin Tillman; great 
granddaughters, Brittney Tillman, Samantha Jones, Jordan Crozier, Madison 
Atkins, and Paige Ross; great-great grandchildren, Chase Jones, Ryan Atkins, 
Kinzley Crozier, and Shyanne Jones.

Pallbearers will be Donald Clark, Eric Greer, Darren Dycus, Todd Pitre, Harley 
Guynes, and John E. Smith.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday at Mulhearn 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to the Peniel Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA.
