JAMES R. TISDALE

Funeral services for James R. Tisdale, 81 of West Monroe will be at 10:00 AM, 
Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West 
Monroe. Bro. Skip Dean and Rev. Lemiel Baugh will be officiating. Interment to 
follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
West Monroe.

James Tisdale, 81, of West Monroe, LA died peacefully in his home Saturday, 
April 26, 2014. He had gone to spend some time alone reading his Bible when he 
passed. He was born to James Edgar and Mary Ella West Tisdale of Ouachita 
Parish. He was drafted and served in the Army and upon returning home he 
completed his training as a machinist at the Louisiana Vo-Tech School in 1957. 
He married his wife, Bobbie, on August 21, 1958; the two had four children. 
Mr. Tisdale worked as a machinist for many years and helped to manufacture 
products such as the "Grab-it". He recruited his wife and children to help 
with this project. He was the owner of Mann-Fleming Machine Shop. He enjoyed 
coaching softball, going to garage sales and spending time with his children 
and grandchildren. He was an active member and Deacon of Highland Baptist 
Church and a man who loved the Lord.

He is survived by his wife Bobbie Sawyer Tisdale; his four children Deborah 
White (Wade), Ken Tisdale, Kaye Robinson (John) and Rhonda Tisdale; 11 
grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe, LA.
