H. W. "BUDDY" TOLSON

Mulhearn Funeral Home

Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mr. H. W. "Buddy" Tolson, 85, of Monroe, will be held at 
2:00 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2009, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Lys Cockrell officiating. Interment will 
follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Tolson passed away Sunday, January 18, 2009, at St. Francis Medical Center. 
He was a charter member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, and a U. S. Army 
veteran serving during WWII. Mr. Tolson was retired sales manager for Hill 
Lumber Co. and a former member of Ouachita Parish School Board.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy Rushing Tolson.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey A. Bethea Tolson; son, Steve Tolson; 
brother, James Tolson and wife Ruth; grandson, Kyle Tolson; stepsons, Virgil 
Floyd Bethea and wife Regina, James Monroe Bethea and wife Jan, T. P. Bethea 
and wife Risė, Sam Alton Bethea and wife Sallie; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Bethea 
Johnston and husband David; eleven step grandchildren, and fourteen step great-
grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Walter Smith, Mark Walley, Gene Waalk, Barry Craft, Nick 
Smith, Glen Jordan, and Joe Landry.
