West Monroe - Funeral services for Mrs. Janice Laverne Torrey of West Monroe, LA w
LA will be 2:00pm Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at The Gathering Church in West Monr
Monroe, LA with Bro. Tim Mosher officiating. Interment will follow at Coax Bapt
Baptist Cemetery in Winnsboro, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West
West Monroe. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until time of service Tuesday at the 
the church.

Mrs. Torrey was born September 27, 1945 in Winnsboro, LA and passed from this li
life on October 8, 2017 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 72. She was a member of
of the Baptist faith and enjoyed sewing, hunting, fishing and spending time wi
with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Woodard and Thelma Coston; three 
brothers, Ralph Coston, John Coston and Ray Coston.

Survivors include her husband, Lannie Torrey; one daughter, Lana Torrey; two 
step-daughters, Sharon Lynn and Kim Adkins; one sister, Marie Jordan and hu
husband Bill; also survived by four grandchildren and a host of extended family an
and friends.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Latrick, David Hollenshead, Jim York, Bill Smith, 
Ralph Coston and Bobby Blair. Honorary pallbearers will be the elders of The G
Gathering Church in West Monroe.
