CHARLES WAYNE TOWNSEND

Funeral services for Charles Wayne Townsend, 72, of West Monroe, will be held 
at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 4, 2015, in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum 
Chapel with Rev. Dwight Munn officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn 
Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mr. Townsend passed away Monday, March 2, 2015, at Glenwood Regional Medical 
Center. He was an avid hunter and retired as a Supervisor with the City of 
Monroe.

Mr. Townsend was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Townsend; and parents, 
Jack and Alma Ates.

Survivors include his daughter, Shannon Townsend; grandsons, Carter Reed and 
Anderson Reed; and numerous family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick Stephens, Jimmy Kyzar, Raymond Hoggatt, 
Jon Smiley, Eric Whittington, Kory Kyzar, and Kasey Kyzar.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM until service time Wednesday in the Mausoleum 
Chapel.
