Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Johnny was born on December 6, 1960 in Twin Falls, Idaho and went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 14, 2015 in Monroe, LA. He was a devoted husband, father, papaw, brother, uncle and friend to many. His favorite pastime was spending quality time with family and friends. He was an independent distributor for Borden Milk Company for 25+ years. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Betty Trainer. Left to cherish his memories are his best friend and loving wife of 35 years, Denise; son and daughter-in-law, John and Ashley Trainer; daughter and son-in- law, Rebecca and Kayne Jeselink; seven grandchildren who were the light of his world. Dillian, JT, Mackenzie, Mickayla, Khristian, Jacob and Corbin; two brothers, Tommy Joe and Rachel Trainer, Rickey and Robin Trainer; five sisters, Lynn and Tony Naquin, Debbie and David Hunter, Peggy and Robert Lindsay, Virginia and Mario Garcia, Carolyn and fiancé Michael Fleming; numerous nieces and nephews; best buddy, Jerry Shows and "adopted family" Scott Marionneaux, Josh Parks, Jay Simpson and Randy Welch; along with many family and friends. Pallbearers will be Josh Parks, Jay Simpson, Randy Welch, Scott Marionneaux, S.J. Fontana and Cory Hough. Visitation will be held Friday, April 17th from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
