Chuck was born on October 3, 1947, in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 1965, he graduated from Jesuit High School. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a B.S. in Accounting in 1969, and Juris Doctrate in 1973. In 1968, Chuck married his partner and the love of his life, Barbara Marks. They moved to Monroe following law school and have made Monroe their home. Chuck spent his entire career as an attorney and partner of the law firm of Snellings, Breard, Sartor, Inabnett & Trascher, LLP. He is admitted to all courts located in Louisiana, as well as the United States Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, D.C. Chuck was a very active member and past president of the 4th Judicial Bar Association, and a Master of the Fred J. Fudickar Inns of Court. He has also served as Chairman of the Indigent Defender Board; a member and past president of the Court Liaison Committee; and a member of the Louisiana Bankers Association Counsel, Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board, Commercial Law League, and American Agricultural Law Association. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Conrad Trascher, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Marks Trascher, and his two children, Charlen Trascher Campbell and Charles Conrad "Rad" Trascher, IV. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Jane Elizabeth Campbell and Claire Rookh Campbell; his mother, Yvonne Dolese Trascher of New Orleans; his sister, Susan and her husband, Steve Doody of Baton Rouge; his brother Ken and his wife Angelika Trascher of Dubai, UAE and Madisonville; brother-in-law, Bill and wife Eva Marks; and numerous nieces and nephews. Honorary Pallbearers are Don Anselmo, Billy Joe Arceneaux, James Arceneaux, Tom Baker, Bing Bishop, Kent Breard, Dave Cain, Jon Guice, Billy Haddad, Carrick Inabnett, Eddie Kincaid, Lane Kincaid, Johnny Lauve, Tobie McKown, and Steve Swander. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Funeral Mass will be held at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all of the selfless volunteers, Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and Ouachita Parish Sherriff's Office, who tirelessly searched for him. They would also like to thank all friends and extended family for the support and prayers during this difficult time.
