Mark Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Union Church Cemetery. Mrs. Traxler died Tuesday, December 2, 1997 at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro. after an extended illness. She was a resident of Winnsboro, a homemaker and a member of First United Pentecostal Church, Winnsboro. She was preceded in death by a son: Eton Traxler and a brother Faye Haley. Survivors include her husband: Curtis Traxler of Winnsboro, her children: Malcolm Traxler and wife Edith of Rayville, Sonja Traxler of West Monroe, Lawanna Wolleson and husband Warren of West Monroe, Steve Traxler and wife Lillian of Monroe, Monty Traxler and wife Callie of Bradley, AR; four brothers: Husel Haley of Provencal, Howard Haley of Provencal, Basil Haley of Lake Charles, Lyndel Haley of Pasadena, TX; three sisters: Ona Mae Lindsey of Provencal, Melba Free of Natchitoches, Ester Haley of Provencal. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Sonny Boutwell, Ken Free, Ira Browning, Richard Guidry, Stanley Gorman, Jimmy Parks.
