GERALDINE TRAYLOR

Geraldine Traylor, 77, died Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Ms. Traylor passed 
peacefully at her son's home in West Monroe, LA with her family by her side.

She is survived by her long-time companion Bobby Walker, Sr., West Monroe, LA, 
his father Charlie Walker, West Monroe, LA, brother Ray Traylor, West Monroe, 
LA, sister Kaye Fullerton, Slidell, LA, son Wayne Crowell and his wife Linda, 
West Monroe,LA, her daughter Karen Crowell, West Monroe, LA, Jerry Walker and 
his wife Kayla, West Monroe, LA, Bobby Walker, Jr., West Monroe, LA and Tracie 
Leehy, West Monroe, LA, Grandchildren, Evan, Josh, Brooke, David, Sarah, Zoie, 
Mitch, Dylan, Brittany, Aaron, Chase, Chloe and Connor, Great-Grandchildren 
Haley and Bradley, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 
her father Guy Traylor and her mother Rachel Foster Traylor, both of Chatham, 
LA, brother Roger Traylor, West Monroe, LA and brother James Traylor, Monroe, 
LA.

Geraldine was a graduate of Louisiana Business College and worked many years 
in the legal profession. She played basketball during her high school years at 
Chatham High School and enjoyed softball, volleyball, fishing, and horseback 
riding.

Geraldine had a kindness about her that touched the lives of many throughout 
the years. She devoted her life to friends, family and the Church and was a 
caregiver to her mother until she passed away in October 1995.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 1:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 1321 North 7th Street, West Monroe, LA with Rev. Mary 
Jo Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 AM until 
service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Interment will follow at 
Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens West Monroe, LA.

Pallbearers will be James Garland, Jerry Don Walker, Jimmy Griffin, Chris Cox, 
Brian Craighead, Gayland Mower.

The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to Stephanie VanGilder and all of 
the management and staff of Southern Care Hospice for the kindness and 
exceptional care given Geraldine.
