JAMES ADAMS JR. TRULY

James Adams Truly, Jr. passed away at the age of 52, at his home in P
Ponchatoula, LA with his wife at his side on Saturday, January 21. 2017.

James is survived by his loving wife, Susan Ezell Truly and children by 
marriage, Lance and Lauren Drouet. He is also survived by his parents, James A.
Truly,
Truly, Sr. M.D. and Margaret Mclean Truly of Birmingham, Alabama; sister, Karen
Truly 
Truly Long (Randy) and Rebecca Truly Stuart (Tom); and numerous nieces, nephews and
co
and cousins.

James was born in West Monroe, Louisiana July 24, 1964. He graduated from West Monr
Monroe High School in 1982 and went on to earn a degree in Economics from Loui
Louisiana State University in 1989. He worked as a catastrophe claims adjuster with
with State Farm for many years before becoming an independent adjuster with Worl
Worley Claims Services for 16 years where he traveled throughout the country and 
and to Canada. In 2016 he retired from his work to have more time with his fami
family and was employed as a claims adjuster for Allstate Insurance Company.

James loved fishing, camping, hiking, snow skiing, and LSU football. He was a pr
prodigious reader and the family dog Buddy was his constant companion.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Livingston Parish 
Library Albany-Springfield Branch P.O. Box 1256 Albany, La 70711

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of 
Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 
9:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Byron Comish
will
will officiate and interment will follow in Carter Cemetery in Springfield.
