Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Roy D. Tullos, Sr., 76, of Monroe, are at 10:00AM on 
Tuesday, May 11th, 2010, in the Chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of 
Monroe, with Rev. Andy Myrick officiating. Interment follows in Mulhearn 
Memorial Park under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.

Mr. Tullos was born May 13, 1933, in Archie, LA, and passed away Friday, May 
7th, 2010, at his residence. The owner and operator of Roy's Trading Post, he 
was an avid horse racing fan and entrepreneur.

In addition to his parents, Ray Tullos and Edith Nugent Tullos, he was 
preceded in death by his son, Roy D. Tullos, Jr., his sister, Glenda Tullos, 
and his brother, Tim Tullos.

Survivors include his loving companion of 42 years, Ruth E. Boykin Lawson; 
sons, Michael and Joel Tullos; daughter, Farra Shaw Bracken; step children, 
Schley Stanfield, Shera Redding, Cindy Conville, and Randal Lawson; siblings, 
Cathy Dotson, Marie Williams, Sandra Williams, Cecil Herring, Jr., Ray, Jimmy, 
and Ricky Tullos; a number of grand children, great grandchildren, nieces, 
nephews, and friends.

Visitation is Monday evening, May 10, 2010, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, 1200 Lamy Lane, Monroe, LA 71201.
