Memorial services for Art Turgeon, 43, of Monroe, will be held at 11:00 AM 
Saturday, May 9, 2009, at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Father Joseph 
Puthuppally will be officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Homes 
of Monroe.

Art was born January 1, 1966, in Springhill, LA and died May 1, 2009 following 
an illness. Art was a graduate of Springhill High School and Paris Junior 
College. Art was currently employed as jeweler, at Randy Smith Jewelers of 
Monroe. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Romeo A. Turgeon of Springhill, LA.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Romeo A. Turgeon, of Springhill, LA; his 
sister, Denise Smith, of Monroe, LA; his brother, Patrick Turgeon, of 
Shreveport, LA. Art is also survived by his nieces and nephews Megan and 
Peyton Smith of Monroe, LA; Macy and Gavin Turgeon of Shreveport, LA.

Memorial donations may be made to The Cancer Foundation League.
