Visitation will start 30 min. prior to service and directly after. Yvonne was born February 19, 1927 in Farmerville, La and died June 20, 2017. She was a member of First Baptist Church Farmerville and worked 40 years as a Legal Secretary for several Oil/Gas attorneys. Yvonne enjoyed her retirement years as a homemaker with the love of her life, husband Charles, fishing, playing cards, attending automobile races and caring for friends, family, and two granddaughters, Preceding her in death were husband Charles L. Turnage, mother Ittie Wilhite Brantley, father John W. Brantley, brother Bryan J. Brantley and wife Naomi, sister Faye B. Futch and husband Allen, nephews Brantley M. Futch and Johnny Brantley, brother in law James H. Turnage, sister in law Doris Turnage Brantley and husband Jim and Floye Nell Delamar. Remaining to cherish her memory is son Charlie Turnage and wife Debbie, granddaughters, Kaye Turnage and Brantley Hayes Turnage along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Max Hearn, Billy Anderson, Richard Anderson, Freddy Revels, Mark Revels, Wayne Duke and Mike Young will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Ray Marsh, Freddie Hall and John Drue Taylor. Special thanks are extended to the staff of Rosemont Assisted Living in West Monroe, Jai Kumar, MD- Neurohospitalist and special caregiver and niece, Sharon Brantley Anderson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America, Alzheimer's Association, or LSU Health Sciences Foundation-Shreveport.
