Gerald Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Turner passed away Saturday, September 29, 2007, after a brief illness. She was a member of Swartz Assembly of God Church, and Am Vets Post 66. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Turner; and parents, Bill and Vera Cooper. Survivors include her sons, Jerry M. Turner and wife Sharon of Marion, LA, and Jimmie R. Turner of Swartz, LA; daughter, Rickie Turner Baker and husband Tom of Sterlington, LA; brother, James Cooper of Dubach, LA; sister, Louise Bain of Rome, GA; four grand-children, Tanya Lowry and husband Blake, Charissa McKinnie and husband Peyton, Jason Baker and wife Nicole, and Jessica Turner; four great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Billy George McKinnie, Gary Stuart, Ernie Bruce, Peyton McKinnie, Blake Lowry, Mike Spillers, and Kenneth Turner. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to American Lung or American Heart Association.
