ESTUS LEROY "HARDROCK" TURNER, JR .

Bastrop, Louisiana

Funeral services for Mr. Estus Leroy Turner, Jr., age 53, of Bastrop will be 
held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home 
with the Rev. Jimmie Yocum officiating. Interment will follow at the Carter 
Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.

Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Friday evening 
November 21st at the funeral home.

Estus Leroy Turner, Jr. was born September 11, 1955 and he died Wednesday, 
November 19, 2008 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Monroe. He was an 
Industrial Superintendent with Brock Services Ltd. of West Monroe. He enjoyed 
hunting, fishing, and NASCAR. He was an avid Jeff Gorden fan. "Hardrock's" 
greatest love was his family especially his daughter and granddaughter.

He is survived by his daughter Stephanie Turner and granddaughter, Alexia West 
both of Bastrop; his parents, Estus Leroy Turner, Sr. and Bea Lebrun Turner of 
Collinston; a brother, Tony Turner and wife Simone of Monroe; sister, Cindy 
Dispenza and husband Vince of Monroe; two nephews, Chris Nugent and Bryan 
Nugent; and two nieces, Jessica Turner and Joni Hinton and husband Mike.

Serving as pallbearers are Wade Carruth, Gary Castleberry, Roger "Doc" 
Billings, Jimmie Don Spyker, Chris Nugent, Bryan Nugent, Charlie Bryant, and 
Kenneth Harrell.

Honorary pallbearers are Richard Milliren and Richard Earl Boyte.
