OLA TURNER 

Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston, LA 

Funeral service for Mrs. Ola Turner, age 100, of Ruston, LA will be held at 
10:00 A.M Friday, June 26, 2009 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston, 
LA. Officiating the service will be Dr. Andrew Johnson. Graveside service will 
follow at Christ Church Cemetery in Bastrop, LA at 1:00 P.M under the 
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Mrs. Turner was born October 10, 1908 
and passed away June 24, 2009. Mrs. Turner was a member of the Eastern Star 
she was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded 
in death by her husband of 61 years William H. Turner; parents: Zack and 
Melissa Brister; sisters: Alma Smith, Pete Chandler and an infant sister. She 
is survived by daughter: Doris Brasher and husband Bob of Ruston; grandsons: 
Robert William Brasher and wife Linda of Tyler, TX, and Barry Turner Brasher 
and wife Kim of Ruston; great grandchildren: Briley Clare Brasher, Barry 
Turner Brasher II, Robert Reid Brasher, Tatum Brooks Brasher, Robert Seth 
Brasher and Sabbie Grace Brasher. Pallbearers will be Skip Russell, Danny 
Prince, Mike Freeman, Mike Kilcoyne, Barry Turner Brasher II and Robert Reid 
Brasher. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Seth Brasher, Billy Chandler and 
Brandon Chandler. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, June 
25, 2009 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA. The family would like to 
thank Hospice Compassus of Monroe and the Princeton Place in Ruston.
