PATRICIA CARR UNDERWOOD

Funeral services for Patricia Carr Underwood, age 55, of Monroe, will be held 
at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Bosco Baptist Church with Bro. 
Roger Stoffer and Bro. Doyle Jinks officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 
5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the church. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery 
in Calhoun. Services are under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.

Patricia was born July 12, 1959 to Arlin and Earline Carr in Monroe and she 
passed from this life on December 13, 2014 at St. Francis Medical Center in 
Monroe.

She worked 19 and a half years at Walmart and she worked 8 years for Fire Pro 
as an accountant. She was an important member of Bosco Baptist Church. She was 
a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a beautiful 
singer who wrote songs and poems. She loved crafts and she loved to paint and 
sew. Her favorite saying to her family was she loved them to Heaven and back. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Wayne Carr; nephew: Hunter 
Carr; niece: Carrie Sepulvado; brother-in-law: Charles Holder.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years: Bruce Underwood of Monroe; three 
daughters: Mindy Lankster and her husband Brandon of Westville, Illinois; 
Heather Candella and her husband Chad of West Monroe; Amanda Sutterfield and 
her husband Jimmy of West Monroe; two brothers: Willie and Robert Carr; five 
sisters: Bonnie Torrez, Lemora Elliot, Lenora Holder, Onita McMillon, and 
Juanita Carr; six grandchildren: Bailei Lankster, Braeden Lankster, Caden 
Candella, Jaxon Candella, Mallory Sutterfield, and Brock Sutterfield; she was 
also survived by a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Kaleb McMillon, Jeffrey Haddox, Gerald Sepulvado, Jessie 
Sepulvado, Terry Sepulvado, Eric Carr, Eddie Underwood III, and Mark Underwood, 
Jr. .

Honorary Pallbearers will be grandsons: Brock Sutterfield, Braeden Lankster, 
Caden Candella, Jaxon Candella and nephew Hunter Carr.
