DEE L. UPSHAW

Funeral Services for Mr. Dee L. Upshaw, 75, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 
10:00 A.M. Friday, June 28, 2013 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West 
Monroe, LA with Rev. Gordon "Skip" Dean officiating. Interment will follow in 
the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA. 

Mr. Upshaw was born on September 8, 1937 and died on June 26, 2013. He was 
retired from the Ouachita Parish School System as Maintenance Supervisor and 
also from the United States Army Reserves. Mr. Upshaw enjoyed camping and 
Westerns. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Moore Upshaw; parents, 
James E. and Hazel Upshaw; brothers, Troy and James Upshaw and his sister, Sue 
Upshaw.

Survivors include his son, Ken Upshaw and wife, Michelle of West Monroe, LA; 
sisters, Patsy Gatine of Reno, NV and Hazel Kimber of Portland, OR; 
grandchildren, Brent Upshaw of Bossier City, LA, Blake, Kyle and Matthew Upshaw 
of West Monroe, LA; great grandchildren, Braxton Upshaw, Anna Belle Upshaw both 
of West Monroe, LA, Ellie Upshaw and Hayes Upshaw both of Bossier City, LA.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Brent, Blake, Kyle, Matthew, along with 
Kenneth Ramsey and Charles Moore.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Mulhearn 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to the Highland Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA.
