MARY L. VAN

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary L. Van, 88, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM 
Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at New Light Baptist Church with Rev. Lindle 
Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at New Light Baptist Church 
Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, 
Monroe.

Mrs. Van was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Bernie James Van.

Together they raised five children, ten grandchildren, and seven great 
grandchildren. They were widely loved by family and their friends at New Light 
Baptist Church, where they served together for many years.
