Services for Arthur F. "Dine" Vancil, 101, of Bastrop, will be at 8-9 a.m. 
Wednesday, November 19, 1997 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Park Cemetery 
under direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home on Sterlington Road, Monroe. Mr. 
Vancil died Sunday, November 16, 1997 in Mer Rouge, LA. Mr. Vancil was retired 
from LP&L. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Quarels Vancil; a son, 
Arthur C. Vancil; and a daughter Wanda Jean Vancil.

Survivors include grandchildren: Nathan Pettit, Gwen Anderson, Art Vancil, 
Gwenn Jackson, Lynn Hutchinson; a niece, Juanita Hicks; twelve great-
grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 
to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
