ALFRED "RAY" VARNER

Funeral services will be held for Alfred "Ray" Varner 77 of West Monroe at 
2:00 PM, Friday, October 17, 2014 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
West Monroe. Bro. Bill Schooley will be officiating. Interment will follow 
at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe.

Ray was born May 27, 1937 and passed away October 14, 2014 in West Monroe.

Ray never met a stranger. He loved football, the outdoors and his family and 
his church. Ray was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Caples and 
son, Randy Varner; grandson Dusty Varner and great grandson Dustin Varner.

Ray is survived by his wife Mary of 57 years; sons Kennith and wife Marilyn, 
Billy and wife Heather; daughter, Amanda Patton and husband Kenny; son-in-
law, Paul Caples; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-
great grandchild.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 
PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
