Pastor Terry Taylor, Family Church will conduct the celebration. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Annie Lee Vaughan passed from her early home to her heavenly home on September 18, 2012. Her husband, Edgar Lee Vaughan and her son, Edgar Lynn Vaughan are welcoming her to Heaven. She was born July 16, 1917 in Eros, LA and lived most of her adult life in West Monroe where she was a member of First Baptist Church of West Monroe for 62 years. She loved Jesus and glorified Him with the way that she served others. She leaves behind her grandsons; Brian Vaughan, his wife, Deanna, and their 5 children, Andy Vaughan, his wife Julie and their 3 children, her sister, Loretta Stuckey Green and her husband, James and 5 nieces and 5 nephews; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Daniel and Joe. Pallbearers will be Hunter Vaughan, Bailey Vaughan, Casey Vaughn, Jim Smith, Kim Smith and Trey Charles. The family wishes to thank all her caregivers from Home Assistance Services for all they have done over the last 3 years and with special thanks to Joyce and Joan. We also appreciate Louisiana Hospice and her "good helper" Sandra, her nurse, Monica, her chaplain Milton. You all helped her live out a good quality of life and her last days in her own home. Visitation will be held Friday, September 20, 2012 starting at 9:30 AM and the celebration service will begin at 11 am at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
