MARK ANTHONY VERRETT

Memorial services for Mr. Mark Anthony "BoJangles" Verrett of Downsville will be 
7pm Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe 
with the Rev. Jimmy Pittson officiating. Visitation will be from 5pm until 
service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Verrett was born on September 12, 1952 in Monroe, La and passed from this 
life on June 14, 2014 in West Monroe at the age of 61. Mark always had a smile 
and a joke for anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his momma, Ruby M. Tate.

Survivors include his son, Mark Anthony Verrett, Jr.; one brother, Keith Pierce 
& wife Myrna; two sisters, Donna Prudhomme, Lenora Davis & husband Jimmy; his 
aunt, Esther Hilburn all of West Monroe and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews 
and friends.

Special mentions to Parky & Janet Albritton, Vern "Stick" Davis, Effie Bearden, 
Rhonda Boggs and Gabrielle Lewis.

A very special thanks to Jessica & Allen Moore, Donna Prudhomme, and all of the 
doctors, nurses and staff of Louisiana Hospice & Palliative Care of Monroe.
