DON VOCKER, SR.
Kilpatrick Funeral Home

West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Don Vocker, Sr., 74, will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, 
June 22, 2009 in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe, LA with 
Rev. Mike Loveday officiating. Interment will follow at New Chapel Hill 
Cemetery, West Monroe, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of 
West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Vocker was born December 1, 1934 in St. Louis, MO and passed away June 18, 
2009 in West Monroe, LA. He was owner/operator of Don's Upholstery and he 
served in the United States Naval Reserve for six years. Mr. Vocker was an 
avid New Orleans Saints fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers.

Mr. Vocker is survived by his wife, Emma Jean Vocker; eight children, Donnie 
Vocker, Jr. and wife Vickie, Jan Vocker, Jenni McDonald and husband Matt, 
Patti Vocker and Jeff, Paula Nawawi and husband Mo, Peggy Worley and husband 
Estes, Danny Durbin and wife Trudy, and Kerry Durbin and wife Lisa; sister, 
Katie Archibald Brown and husband Charlie; 24 grandchildren and 18 great-
grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation is Sunday, June 21, 2009, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe, LA.
