JULIUS L. WAGONER

Funeral services for Julius Wagoner, 78, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 
11:00 AM, Friday, December 4, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
West Monroe. Rev. Russell Wagoner will be officiating. Interment to follow at 
Cypress Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
West Monroe.

Mr. Wagoner was born October 4, 1937 in Ouachita Parish and passed away 
December 1, 2015 in West Monroe, LA. He was retired as President and CEO of 
Ouachita Valley Federal Credit Union. Julius was a member of Oak Hill Baptist 
Church. Julius's hobbies included hunting and fishing and growing vegetables 
for his homemade salsa. He was preceded in death by his parents, C.P. Wagoner 
Sr. and Gartha Owens Wagoner; brothers, Marshall Wagoner and C. P. Wagoner, 
Jr.;and sisters, Elnora Avery and Lenora Scalfano.

Mr. Wagoner made it his career mission to help people, first at Kraftsman 
Federal Credit Union in Bastrop for 13 years, then 17 years at Ouachita Valley 
Federal Credit Union. He was inducted into Louisiana Credit Union Hall of Fame 
in 2011 and was currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Ouachita 
Valley Federal Credit Union. Julius also served many terms on the Board of 
Directors of the Louisiana Credit Union League and on the Louisiana Corporate 
Credit Union Board of Directors in New Orleans.

Mr. Wagoner is survived by his wife of 33 years, Donna Jones Wagoner; son, 
Julius Wagoner, Jr.; daughters, Julia Renea Huling and husband Doug, Kimberly 
Wiggins and husband Jeremy, Ashley Allain, Candy Traxler and husband Ron, and 
Stacey Bolding and husband Bill; grandchildren, Ricky, JC, Taylor, Damian, 
Claudia, Stephen, Jordan, Caleb, Lauren, Rachel and Brandon; great-
grandchildren, Jacob, Lucas, Sydney, Dax and Jaxon; brothers, Kenny Wagoner and 
Roy Dan Wagoner; sister, Laverne Hargrove; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Damian Sant, Caleb Broadway, Stephen Campbell, Brandon 
Spires, Danny Cobb and Danny Wagoner.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
