William Sikes officiating. Interment will follow at Loch Arbor Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Walker died April 15, 2014, at St. Francis North Medical Center. He was a member of Loch Arbor Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and gardening. He served in the U.S. Marines Corps and retired as Postmaster of the Swartz Post Office. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Walker; brother, W.T. "Billy" Walker; and parents, William and Lena Madden Walker. Survivors include his wife, of 55 years, Dorothy Trevillion Walker; daughter, Dawn Clark and husband Todd; granddaughter, Lauren Grace Clark; sisters, Fayrene Irvin, Nelda Bentel, Linda Ellerbe; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Dr. Greg Tubre, Glenn Adams, Allan Massey, Larry Head, Jesse Head, Randy Clark, and Troy Buckley. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.
