ROBERT WILLIAM WALKER

Funeral services for Robert William Walker, Sr., 89, of Calhoun, LA will be 
held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 31, 2016 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home Monroe, LA. Bro. Ronald Brown and Bro. Ray Jones will officiate. Interment 
will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home Monroe, LA.

Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Rae Walker; daughter, 
Linda Sue Walker; parents, Elmer and Vera Walker; brother, Arthur Walker; 
sister, Alpha Mae Jones. He was a member of House of Prayer International and 
served in World War II in the Philippines, and earned several awards.

Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Cathern Walker; daughters; Elizabeth Purvis 
(Willis), Vera McCormick (Ernie), Bonnie Watson (Robert), Audrey Fite (Bo), 
Hattie Laverne Walker, Brenda Sherman (Butch), Bonnie Prescott (John), Gladys 
Eubanks, Lanette Knight (Paul); sons, Robert W. Walker Jr., William R. Walker, 
Sr. (Ruth), Leslie Brock (LeJeune); 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren 
and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons: William R. Walker, Jr., John Kenny Edge, Robert 
G. Walker, Steve McKnight, Jr., Trey Garcia and Silas Knight.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home Monroe, LA.
