Funeral services for C. E. "Eddie" Walpole, a purchasing agent for Smurfit-
Stone Container, of Jonesboro will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at 11:00 
AM at Hodge Baptist Church in Hodge, LA., with Rev. Norris Curry officiating. 
Burial will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery in Quitman, LA.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Edmonds Funeral Home in 
Jonesboro from 4:00-9:00 PM.

Mr. Walpole passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2008 in Jena, LA. Born on February 
7, 1936, he was 72.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Walpole of Jonesboro, LA. Two daughters, 
Suann Dycus and husband Joe D. of Sterlington, LA. Katie Reeves McNaughton and 
husband Dusty of Jonesboro, LA. One son, C. E. "Chuck" Walpole and wife Tammy 
of Jonesboro, LA. Father, W. A. "Wimp" Walpole of Jonesboro, LA. Two Brothers, 
Tom Walpole and wife Gayle of West Monroe, LA. Jim N. Walpole of New Orleans, 
LA Four Grandchildren, Ty Edward Dycus, Jake Holman Dycus, Claire Elizabeth 
Walpole, James Kaden Delane McNaughton

Pallbearers will be, Gary Pullig, Doc Robinson, Eddie Langston, Billy Pipes, 
Charlie Pyles and Rex Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Bud Smith, Woody McDonald, Shelton Moore, Mike 
Miles, Kenny Hobdy, Mike Brown, Claude McMillan, Crawford Reed and the Stepping 
Stones Sunday School Class.

Services are under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home in Jonesboro. You may
