ALVIN JOE WALTERS

Alvin Joe Walters was born February 25, 1943 in Rayville, LA and passed away 
Tuesday, June 7, 2016 in Mangham, LA after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Alvin was a veteran with the U.S. Air Force, retiring with the rank of 
Staff Sergeant.

Mr. Alvin is preceded in death by his parents, Wiley and Cleo Walters and 
brothers, Bob Walters and Grant Walters.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Linda Walters of Mangham; son, Jason 
Wayne Walters and wife, Jennifer of Mangham; stepdaughters, Carolyn Herron of 
Holly Ridge, Christie Pearce and husband, Dewey of Vicksburg, MS, Charlotte 
Hines and husband, Wayne of Mangham, Polly Sarbourgh and husband, Bucky of 
Start, and Tanya Copes and husband, Mikey of Start; 15-grandchildren and 3-
great grandchildren; and brothers, William Walters and wife, Glenda of 
Ferriday, LA and Gordan Walters of Cape Coral, FL.
