Burial will be in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville. Billy Howard Ware was born May 9, 1952 in Vicksburg, MS and passed away January 3, 2014 at home. He was the Sales Manager at White Ford Lincoln in Winnsboro, LA and a life-long resident of Rayville, LA. He loved to play golf, hunt, and watch football. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rayville. Billy Howard Ware had numerous other interests; He was an award winning amateur photographer, a member of the NRA, and served on the Board of Directors for both the National Cutting Horse Association and Manheim Auto Auctions in Fort Worth. He was a past commander of the Eta Zeta chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity, where he made many life-long friends. He received numerous awards from Ford Motor Company for always providing the highest levels of customer satisfaction and employee training, as well as being one of the top salesmen in the Southeast. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Dola Ware. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sara Walters Ware, daughter Erin Ware, daughter Anna Ware Berg and son-in-law Marcus Berg, mother Billie Himel Ware, brother Jerry Ware, and mother-in-law Joy Maxie Walters. Also left to cherish his memory are sister- in-law Amy Walters McMichael, sister-in-law Sue Walters Haynes (Tony), brother- in-law Glynn Walters (Sharon), and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Pallbearers will be Danny Childress, James Crain, Greg Hogue, Carlton Clark, Jimmy Whitman, Alan Whitman. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Newsom, Bill Newsom, Mike McNaughton, Edward Greer, Cal Smith, Alan Morgan, Tim Morris, Ronald Middleton. Visitation will be 5-8:00PM Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the First Baptist Church- Rayville. His family would like to thank Dr. Kyle Bruyninckx for his loving, compassionate care, the nurses and staff of Richland Hospice for their support, and the doctors and staff of the Gastrointestinal Center of M.D. Anderson.
