Thomas Peoples officiating. Interment will be at South Central Cemetery in Wisner under the direction of Young's Community Funeral Home. Mrs. Alma Lee, 88, passed away Tuesday at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Rector, Arkansas, and a graduate of Choudrant High School and Louisiana Tech University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in music education. She taught music at Wisner High School for several years, later teaching private piano and voice lessons. She was a very active member of First Baptist Church of Wisner, serving as the church organist for 20 years. She was also involved in the Women's Missionary Union and the Wisner Garden Club. An avid reader, Mrs. Alma Lee established a library in the Mary Anna Nursing Home where she resided for the past three and one-half years. She also taught Sunday School at the nursing home and played the piano for residents. She was a devoted wife to the late Charles Watson of Wisner for 49 years and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Soft-spoken, yet fun- loving, her gracious spirit will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death her husband, Charles Watson, her parents, the Rev. J.D. Huff and Ola Huff, and sisters Gerene Huff of Rector, Ark., and Lorene Hogan of Ruston. She is survived by her sons, Mike Watson of Wisner and Wayne Watson and wife Megan of Houston; grandchildren Neal Watson and Lindsay of Nolensville, Tenn., Adam Watson and Laura of Spring, Texas, Cory Watson and Darby Menzel and her son Devin of Wisner, Cara Watson and Kristin Watson of Wisner; and great- grandchildren Sam, Gabe, Luke, William and Annabelle. Pallbearers will be Jesse Young, Marc McCarty, Adam Watson, Neal Watson, Cory Watson and Trent Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Myles Kiper, Russell Johnson, Max Johnson, Curtis Tyson, Mike Caldwell, Wiley McClary, Trey Kiper and Ray Young. Memorial gifts may be made to the music ministry of First Baptist Church of Wisner. The family wishes to extend its heartfelt appreciation to the caring staff of Mary Anna Nursing Home, Glenwood Regional Medical Center's intensive care unit and Louisiana Hospice Care.
