Beverly Weaver, a retired co-founder of C & W Tire, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. Born on June 28, 1930 in Haile, La she spent her life involved in numerous business ventures. These included Cranford's Used Cars, Union Marine, selling insurance and thriving fish market. It became evident that she loved the personal interaction with the customers and she continued this until she retired from C & W Tire. Beverly loved to travel around the country with her husband, E C and their grandchildren in their motor coach. She also enjoyed fishing in her pond and cooking for her family. She will forever be remembered as the lady behind the desk of C & W Tire who never met a stranger and would keep the customers entertained with her many stories. She is preceded in death by her parents, J.L. "Anna" Brown and Ottie Spillers Brown, one sister Mary Eugean Hayes, husbands, Raymond Cranford and E C Weaver. She is survived by her only son, Kim Cranford and wife, Donna. One grandson Kacey Cranford, granddaughter, Kallie Cranford Haacks and husband Deacon. Great grandchildren: Christian Aulds, Kaylee Beth and Karly Anne Cranford, Lilly Beth and Shaw Walker Haacks, a dear niece, Melba Hayes Cobb and husband Roger who have always been there to assist her when needed. She is also survived by other family and friends. The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to her wonderful sitters who allowed Memaw the ability to remain at her home. They were truly amazing. Memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Rufus M. Smith, Robert Allen, Harry Dye, Jr., Tyler Cobb, Travis Cobb and Bryce Cobb. Visitation will be Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville.
