ESSIE BALLARD WEBB

Essie Ballard Webb was born October 26, 1930 to Charlie and Hattie Nash 
Ballard. She departed this life on February 17, 2017. She is preceded in death 
by her parents, her husband, Arthur Carl Webb, sons, Larry Ward and Arthur 
Carl, Webb Jr., sisters, Nettie Polk, Esther Hollis and brothers Willie "Bill" 
Ballard, Eddie Ballard and Charlie Ballard. She is survived by sons, Michael C. 
Webb (Veronica), John M. Webb, Robert Webb (Freda); daughters, Anita L. Smith,
Donesa
Donesa W. Simmons (Joel), Claudine W. Hill, Valerie W. Malbrough, and Bernadine 
W. Papion; Grandchildren, David Green, Ronald Green, Andrea Smith, Michael 
Smith, Michelle Webb, John Carl Webb, Michael Simmons, Marcus Ballard Simmons, 
Robert Charles Hill, Sandra Hill, Nathaniel Malbrough, Natasha M. Rogers, 
Consul J. Papion, Jr., Steven Papion, Jessica Webb, and Julian Arthur Webb; 14 gr
great grandchildren and 6 great, great grandchildren. She is also survived by a br
brother, Roosevelt Ballard, Sr., a sister, Bessie B. Bolden, and many nieces, ne
nephews, and relatives.

Visitation is Wednesday, February 22, 2017, 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Richardson 
Funeral Home, Monroe LA. Funeral services will be February 23, 2017 at 11:00 am 
at Church of Christ, 1706 Parkview Drive, Monroe LA with Minister, Larry S. 
Burrell, officiating. Interment will follow at Greater Pilgrims Rest Baptist 
Church Cemetery, Mangham, LA.
