MELINDA WEEKS

Funeral services for Melinda Weeks, 51, of Marion, LA will be 10:00 am 
Wednesday, July 24th at Liberty Baptist Church in Linville with Bro. Paul King 
officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Arrangements are under the 
direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville. 

Melinda, an employee of Green Clinic, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 in 
Spencer, LA. She was a loving mother, sent to touch everybody she met. Melinda 
was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She took care of everyone. She loved 
her children and her grandchildren.

She is preceded by her mother, Freda Binford and long time partner Barrett 
Kenney.

Survivors include her father, Jimmy Binford, Sr. & wife Sue Crow of Marion; 
sisters: Deborah Kick & husband, Eddie of Marion, Dorothy Nowlin, Theresa Liner 
& husband, Tim of West Monroe, and Angela Austin & husband, Todd; 1 brother, 
Jimmy Binford, Jr. & wife, Jackie of Marion; daughters: Ashley Weeks & husband, 
Dion Bracknell of Monroe, Heather Brantley & husband, Chris of Dean, Amber 
Weeks, Tamara Fife & husband, Albert, Brittnay Weeks & husband, Barrett of 
Marion; sons: Keith Weeks and Cody Weeks; 12 grandchildren and many nieces, 
nephews and many, many others.

Pallbearers will be Dion Bracknell, Chris Brantley, Keith Weeks, Cody Weeks, 
Albert Fife and Joseph Brummett.

Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday at Farrar Funeral Home.

There are no words to describe how much this amazing mother, daughter, friend 
and grandmother will truly be missed. She touched so many lives and will live 
in our hearts and our memories forever.
