LYDIA MAHAFFEY WEEMS

Funeral services for Lyda Weems, 73, of Delhi, LA will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, 
at Dunn Baptist Church, Dunn, LA with Bro. Bernard Duchesne officiating. 
Interment will follow in the Crowville Masonic Cemetery, Crowville, LA.

Lyda was born July 30, 1942 in Morton, MS and passed away on Sunday, January 
31, 2016 in Delhi, LA.

Lyda is preceded in death by her parents, James Luther and Helen Mahaffey; 
brothers, Jack Mahaffey, Bill Mahaffey and Fred Mahaffey; sister, Mary Lou 
Mahaffey.

Survivors include her children, Michelle Weems of West Monroe, Tara Howington 
and husband, Eddie of West Monroe; grandchildren, Meagan Weems of Monroe and 
Tiffany Howington of Monroe; great grandchildren, Ava McNeely and Harlow 
Boudreaux both of Monroe; brothers, Rex Mahaffey and Bryant Mahaffey and wife, 
Rhoda; sisters, Patsy Spence, Nell Whitney and Lynda Pepper; sister-in-law, 
Carolyn Mahaffey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mike Mahaffey, Jay Mahaffey, Butch Mahaffey, Sean Whitney, 
Robert Mahaffey and Billy Mahaffey.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Willie "Bee" Walker and Jim Nichols.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Monday at Dunn Baptist Church, Dunn LA.
