CHARLES WELCH

Graveside Services for Charles Welch, 80, of West Monroe, LA will be held 
2:00PM Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Choudrant, LA 
with Rev. Jeremy Jones officiating. Visitation will be 4:00PM until 8:00PM 
Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Charles was born in Monroe, LA on October 31, 1934 and passed away in Ruston, 
LA on January 17, 2015 with his family by his side. He served his country in 
the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1962. He worked as an 
auto body technician for many years and retired from Mitchell's Body Shop in 
2000. Charles is preceded in death by his loving wife, Doris; parents, L.D. and 
Erma Welch of Monroe, LA; and sister, Velma Ruth Bennett of Monroe, LA.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Wendy Rowton and husband Danny of Calhoun, 
LA; son, Rusty Welch and wife Stephanie of Choudrant, LA; three beautiful 
granddaughters, Janea Bender and husband David of Kingwood, TX, Jessica Nugent 
of West Monroe, LA, and Brooke Welch of Choudrant, LA; three precious great-
grandchildren, Hayden and Jordan Bender, and Cameron Nugent; sister, Carolyn 
Holtzclaw and husband Wayne of Monroe, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Kristy Stringfellow, Tymeeka Carter, Jeanean 
Wilson, and the staff at Ruston Nursing and Rehab as well as the staff of 
Northern Louisiana Medical Center ICU Department.
