Burial was in the Crowville Masonic Cemetery. Mr. Welch, a retried farmer, was a veteran of WW1. He was a member of the Warsaw Baptist Church Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edna Welch, Crowville; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Nichols, Crowville; Five Sons, Charles Welch of Crowville; Claude N. Welch of New Orleans, Sgt. Edward Welch of Ft. Sill Okla., "Wimp" Welch of Winnsboro; a sister Mrs. Bethlehem Olsby, Winnsboro; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
